A $10 Pass Line bet pays $10 (1:1). With $20 odds behind on point 6, you'd win $10 + $24 = $34 total. Odds bets pay true odds: 2:1 on 4/10, 3:2 on 5/9, and 6:5 on 6/8.
Craps payouts are expressed as ratios. A 7:6 payout means you win $7 for every $6 wagered. The actual payout percentage varies by bet type, with Pass/Come at even money and proposition bets offering higher payouts with worse odds.
True odds pay exactly what the probability dictates. For point 4, true odds are 2:1 because there are 3 ways to roll 4 and 6 ways to roll 7. Taking odds behind your Pass Line bet is the only bet in the casino that pays true odds with 0% house edge.
Pass Line pays 1:1 (even money). A $25 bet returns $50 total ($25 profit + $25 original bet). The same applies to Come, Don't Pass, and Don't Come bets.
Odds bets pay true odds based on the point: 4/10 pay 2:1, 5/9 pay 3:2, and 6/8 pay 6:5. A $30 odds bet on point 4 pays $60. These are the only bets in the casino with 0% house edge.
Place 6 and 8 pay 7:6, meaning for every $6 wagered, you win $7. To avoid rounding issues and ensure proper payouts, bet in multiples of $6 ($6, $12, $18, etc.).
Hard 4 and Hard 10 pay 7:1 ($70 on $10). Hard 6 and Hard 8 pay 9:1 ($90 on $10). You win only if the exact double rolls before any 7 or the "easy" way.
Buy bets pay true odds (like odds bets) but charge a 5% commission. On 4/10, Buy bets have better payout than Place (2:1 vs 9:5). However, the commission makes them only worthwhile for larger bets on 4 or 10.
