Product Photo Studio

Cut products out, compose clean backgrounds at marketplace sizes, and export the whole batch — free, in your browser, no account.

No photos yet. Drop files above or load the synthetic sample — a drawn ceramic mug on a gradient backdrop — to see the studio work end to end.

Add photos or load the sample to preview the composition.

Export: 2000 × 2000 px · JPG (quality 0.92) · 0 photos ready

Photos stay on your device; nothing is uploaded. The only network download is the AI background-removal model (~40 MB, fetched from a CDN once, then cached). EXIF metadata and ICC profiles are not preserved — exports are re-encoded as sRGB.

Background

White is pure RGB 255,255,255 — what Amazon and most marketplaces expect. Transparent backgrounds export as PNG; all others as JPEG.

Padding is a uniform margin around the product. Bottom bias lifts the product to leave room for a floor reflection. The product is centered and scaled to fit (contain).

Effect

Quick Answer

A product photo studio removes the background with an on-device AI model and composes each product onto a clean background at the exact pixel size a marketplace asks for — 2000×2000 for Amazon and Etsy, 2048×2048 for Shopify, or your own dimensions. Add an optional silhouette drop shadow or floor reflection, then export the batch as JPEG or PNG. Free, no account, and it runs entirely in your browser; the only download is the AI model file, fetched from a CDN once.

How It Works

1

Add 1 to 20 product photos by dropping or browsing, or click "Load sample" to try the studio with a synthetic ceramic mug

2

Leave AI background removal on for cutouts (the ~40 MB model downloads from a CDN once, then caches), or tick "Keep original background" per photo

3

Pick the background — transparent, pure white, black, a custom color, or a two-color gradient — and the size preset: Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Etsy, Instagram, or custom dimensions

4

Frame the product with padding and bottom bias, then optionally add a silhouette drop shadow or a floor reflection; every photo previews live

5

Download the active photo or export the whole batch as a ZIP at the exact preset pixel size — PNG for transparent, JPEG otherwise

Key Facts

  • Compose 1 to 20 product photos at once with one shared set of controls
  • Marketplace size presets: Amazon 2000² and 1600², eBay 1600², Shopify 2048², Etsy 2000², Instagram 1080², plus custom dimensions
  • Backgrounds: transparent, pure white (RGB 255,255,255), black, any solid color, or a two-color vertical gradient
  • Optional AI background removal runs on-device; each photo can keep its original background instead
  • Drop shadow is a blurred silhouette of the product’s own cutout — not a gray box — with offset and opacity controls
  • Floor reflection mirrors the cutout and fades it to zero over 35% of the product height
  • Exports at the exact preset pixel size: PNG for transparent backgrounds, JPEG at quality 0.92 for solid ones
  • Batch export as a ZIP named per photo and preset, or download the active photo alone
  • Photos never leave your device; the AI model (~40 MB) downloads from a CDN once and is cached by the browser

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the drop shadow follow the shape of my product?

After background removal, the tool has a cutout — an image whose alpha channel describes the product’s exact outline. The shadow is drawn by filling that outline shape with black on a separate canvas, blurring it proportionally to the output size, and stamping it behind the product with your chosen offset and opacity. Because the shadow is derived from the product’s own silhouette, holes in a handle or gaps between legs stay transparent instead of casting a solid gray box. This is also why the shadow and reflection effects require background removal: a photo that still has its original background has no separate outline to cast.

Does background removal upload my photos to a server?

No. Your photos are decoded and processed inside this browser tab, and nothing you upload leaves your device. The AI model that powers the cutout (roughly 40 MB) is downloaded from a CDN the first time you use removal, then cached by the browser for near-instant reuse. That model download is the only network traffic involved, and you can skip it entirely by leaving “Keep original background” checked on every photo — the compose, shadow-free, pad, and export features then work with zero network access.

Which file size should I export for Amazon, Shopify, or Etsy?

The presets match the sizes sellers commonly target: Amazon recommends images of at least 1000 px on the longest side to enable zoom, and 2000×2000 JPEG is a common working size (Amazon accepts up to 10000 px); Shopify recommends 2048×2048 as the largest size its themes display; Etsy advises at least 2000 px on the longest side; eBay displays up to 1600 px. Every preset exports at its exact pixel dimensions, and solid backgrounds export as JPEG at quality 0.92, which keeps file sizes small while staying well within each marketplace’s limits. Always check a marketplace’s current requirements before a bulk upload — they change over time.

Are EXIF metadata and color profiles preserved in the export?

No, and that is deliberate. Exporting re-draws each photo onto a fresh canvas and re-encodes it, which strips EXIF fields (camera model, GPS, timestamps) and does not carry over embedded ICC profiles — most marketplaces strip or ignore these anyway, and removing GPS data protects your privacy. If you need precise color management, convert your photos to sRGB before loading them here, since canvas drawing treats inputs as sRGB.

Why PNG for some exports and JPEG for others?

JPEG has no alpha channel, so a transparent background would be flattened to solid black by most encoders. When you choose a transparent background the tool exports PNG, which preserves the cutout’s transparency. Every solid background — white, black, custom color, or gradient — exports as JPEG at quality 0.92, which Amazon, Shopify, and Etsy all accept and which produces much smaller files than PNG at photo sizes. The tool picks the format automatically from your background choice.

What happens if the AI model fails to download or load?

The photo stays fully usable. A failed removal leaves the original photo in place, the file list marks it with a notice, and that photo simply composes with its original background — padding, sizing, and export all keep working. Shadow and reflection are disabled for that photo because both effects need a cutout. You can retry removal from the file list, or keep the original background permanently. Common causes are an offline connection on first use or a browser blocking the CDN download.
