Icon Explorer & Editor

Search 200,000+ open-source icons — Lucide, Material Design, Phosphor, Tabler, Heroicons, and more — then recolor, resize, and export them as SVG or PNG. Icons are open-source (Iconify collections) fetched from a public CDN; no uploads, no accounts, and every export is generated right here in your browser.

Quick Answer

An icon explorer lets you search huge icon libraries by keyword, preview every match instantly, and customize the one you pick — color, stroke width, export size — before downloading it as a clean SVG or PNG. This free one searches 200,000+ icons from open-source Iconify collections (Lucide, Material Design, Phosphor, Tabler, Heroicons, and many more), applies all of your edits inside the browser, and exports in one click — no sign-up, no limits, no uploads.

How It Works

1

Search or browse: type a keyword like "arrow" or "user" and results appear as you type, drawn from 200,000+ open-source icons on the free public Iconify CDN — or click a chip to browse a whole collection (Lucide, Material Design, Phosphor, Tabler, Heroicons)

2

Customize: click any icon to open the detail panel, then pick a color (or keep the original), choose an export size from 16 to 256 pixels, and — for stroke-based sets like Lucide — tune the stroke width with the slider

3

Export: download the edited SVG or a transparent PNG rasterized at your chosen size, or copy the SVG source or the icon name (prefix:name) to your clipboard — everything is generated locally in your browser

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the icons free to use, and what license are they under?

The icons are free and open-source. Each icon belongs to its original collection and keeps that collection’s license — Lucide is ISC, Tabler is MIT, Heroicons is MIT, Phosphor is MIT, Material Design Icons is Apache 2.0, and a few collections use CC BY (attribution required). The detail panel links to the license of the collection for the icon you selected, so you always know the exact terms before shipping.

Is this icon editor free, or is there a paywall?

Completely free. Search, customize, and export as many icons as you want — no account, no credits, no watermarks, and no "pro-only" export sizes. Competing icon tools lock PNG export or large sizes behind paid plans; everything here runs client-side in your browser, so it costs nothing to serve and nothing to use.

Does the icon editor work offline?

Search needs an internet connection because the icons live on the free public Iconify CDN — that is what gives you 200,000+ open-source icons without a single download. Once an icon is on your screen, however, everything else — recoloring, stroke-width changes, SVG and PNG export — happens locally in your browser, and the exported files are generated on your machine.

How do SVG and PNG export work?

When you pick an icon, the tool fetches its raw SVG source from the CDN. Your edits — hex color replacing the icon’s currentColor and any stroke-width change — are applied to that SVG text in the browser. Download SVG gives you that exact file; Download PNG rasterizes it onto a canvas at your chosen size (16–256px) with a transparent background and saves the result. Copy SVG puts the edited source on your clipboard.

Can I change an icon’s color and stroke width?

Yes. The color picker replaces the icon’s built-in color (currentColor) with your chosen hex for both the preview and exports — pick "Original" to keep the designer’s default. The stroke-width slider (1–3) only affects stroke-based sets such as Lucide, Feather, and Tabler, whose shapes are drawn as outlines; fill-based sets like Material Design or Phosphor are solid shapes, so the slider has no visible effect on them.
